Big Jim Larkin,O'Connell St.
Big Jim Larkin Surveys all from his Podium, stirring the Workers to fight against Oppression in the Workplace. Dont let the Buggers get you down.
Thanks Lynn for the Comments. It also changes into Green and Silver. Jim Larkin was a Great Trade Union Leader in Ireland of Liverpool Irish Descent, and he was the Leader at the time of the 1913 Lockout. I do not know where the Tree was made . I would not be surprised if it was made in France. JC Decaux is doing the Street Advetisements in Order to Present the Bike Velib to Dublin Next Year.
Velib in Dublin would be great. We will be there next summer for a family event (my husband is from Ballymun/"Glasnevin North")and plan to rent bikes to ride around Phoenix Park for a day. Keep the photos coming - I love seeing Dublin at Christmas!
They have been in negotiations with JC Decaux for a Year. I hope we do get it like they promised. It is reckoned we will only get 2,400 Bikes, micky Mouse effort if you ask me. Still it is a start,we were also promised better Cycle Lanes as the ones we have are pathetic a bit like Englands ones which are very narrow. If your Husband came from the Satellite Town of Ballymun, there are big changes for a few Years with Regeneration. The Towers are Demolished and New Small Housing with Gardens Built with an Hotel and Library etc and the Roundabout gone. Have a look at November, there are a few more of Grafton Street etc and if you Click the Picture it will give you a bigger Picture. Where in the World do you Live. The Phoenix Park is Beautiful 1,7000 Acres with Fallow Deer, the Zoo,and Horse Riding if you can Hire them from Stables in Castleknock outside the Park Gates at Deer Park.I think Cycleways.com in Parnell Street Hires out Bikes across from Moore Street ask what he is charging to Hire them.

That's a great shot. It looks like he might be singing "O Come All Ye Faithful". Does the tree only change to blue and red? Made in France, right?
